Who we are

Airkenya Express Ltd is an airline registered to operate charter and scheduled flights. The airline commenced operations with the aim of promoting Kenya’s tourism sector by facilitating the transportation of tourists, leisure, incentive and corporate groups among other luxury Safari seekers into and out of Kenyan National Parks and reserves.

Airkenya Express operates scheduled domestic flight services within Kenya. Our destinations  include: Wilson‚ Amboseli‚ Kilimanjaro‚Lewa Downs, Loisaba, Masai Mara,Nanyuki, Samburu , Migori , Kisumu.
We also tailor – make charter services to various destinations‚ depending on our clients’ request and suitability of our equipments.
We operate a fleet of 9 aircraft composed of 2- Dash 7’s, 3 twin otters and 3 Caravans.

As the only safari airline with over 15 years experience in our Niche Market  in Kenya today, Airkenya Express has the economic stability to continue to promote Kenya’s  Park economies with sustainable‚ safe and comfortable flight services.

Airkenya true Vision which is now a reality was to expand into the East African Safari Destinations, and this was achieved when Airkenya’ Subsidiary Regional Air Tanzania and Aerolink Uganda came into being. Regional Air Services operate 3 aircrafts comprising of a dash 8, twin otter and a Cessna Caravan. Aerolink Uganda operates 3 Cessna caravans.
This achievement not only provides our clientele with a choice when it comes to transportation from major Airports to East Africa’s hinterlands, but also enabled Airkenya and its subsidiaries to form a route network, whereby our clientele can enjoy the best of East Africa with seamless connections.

From Kenya’s Masai Mara you can now fly into the Serengeti via Migori and Via Kilimanjaro.

One can also leave the Kenyan Savannah to embark on a journey to Uganda’s Rainforest to experience the beauty of the guerrillas and Chimpanzees among other unique flora, fauna and cultural diversity. This is made possible by Airkenya’s Mara – Entebbe Flights and connects Entebbe to Uganda’s National park with AeroLink Uganda.
 We are an International Air Transport Association (IATA) Member and also a member of the Kenya Association of Air Operators.





Regional Air Services-Tanzania

Regional Air Services (RAS)  has long been synonymous with the very best scheduled  and charter services in Tanzania. Based in Arusha, RAS offers a seamless service from the Serengeti to an Arab feast that is Zanzibar. The airline operates a fleet of single and twin engine aircraft, 16 years of experience  moving groups and Individuals through Africa’s tallest mountain, Kilimanjaro, RAS  can also fly you into Kenya with its sister airline Airkenya who flies internally within Kenya into all the major game parks and coastal towns.

Regional Air schedules routes include: Manyara, Grumeti, Seronera, Sasakwa, Kleins Camp, Lobo, Kogatende, Ndutu,Kilimanjaro,Dar-es-saalam and Zanzibar.

Aerolink Uganda

AeroLink Uganda Limited a subsidiary of Airkenya Express Limited in Kenya is a domestic airline offering both schedule and charter flights into Uganda's national parks.

From its base at Entebbe International Airport, AeroLink offers daily flights into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (Kihihi and Kisoro airstrips), Queen Elizabeth National Park (Kasese and Mweya airstrips), Semuliki National Park (Semliki airstrip), Murchison Falls (Bugungu, Pakuba and Chobe airstrips) and Kidepo Valley National Park (Lomej airstrip). AeroLink provides a convenient and affordable link to the National parks.

At AeroLink, flight and ground safety are an integral part of the operation and it is AeroLink’s policy that all employees participate in and adhere to the Flight Safety Program. Simulator training for the pilots is undertaken in conjunction with Flight Safety in Toronto Canada.


Aircraft line maintenance is carried out in Uganda while major maintenance by AirKenya Express Engineering Division in Nairobi, Kenya. All aircraft are fitted with the latest avionics and satellite tracking systems
